A letter to all American citizens

It seems to me that MOST of our unions and their members, along with “anti-Trump” people are willing to go back to the Al Capone era of ‘mob’ control.

History shows that Chicago was that way for a long time before honest citizens had enough. The song “The Night Chicago Died” relates how close mob rule came to being permanent.

It appears to me today’s young, “illegals” and uneducated in our American history seem not to care as long as they get their freebies.

That’s how control starts, it is the UN’s “agenda 21” way to censor freedoms we now enjoy. If fully implemented, there will be NO turning back without massive death and destruction in America, if at all. Trump may not be the greatest but he is FAR from being the worst!! … May freedom prevail …

Not much choice in presidential race?

Reading Mr. Jim Ferrell’s August 3 letter to the editor, and finding much to agree with questioning Trump, but totally parted why when he inferred Ronald Reagan would vote for Hillary. I would say maybe yes if he’d reached the end stages of his Alzheimer’s and didn’t have any idea who Hillary Clinton is.

It seems many past elections we’ve been choosing the lesser of evils, sometimes making very wrong choices, but this time I see no choice at all.

What is sad is we did start with some very good principled people to choose from: Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Republicans; Jim Webb, a Democrat and Libertarian Austin Peterson, but to me it looks like we didn’t go to the bottom of the barrel for candidates, we just went UNDER the barrel.

Pay attention to more shoes dropping even on Hillary’s head, she functions in a very shadowy world, a committed Machiavellia.

Satisfied customer praises local business

I want to tell you a story.

Five years ago, I bought six new tires from Tire Works for our One-ton dually truck. Recently I noticed that the left rear tire of the dual wheels was dry rotting. The truck had not been used since buying the tires because my husband had gotten sick and then passed away.

I decided to take the truck down and get a new tire for it. When I got to Tire Works, they refused to sell me another tire like was on the truck. The NEW manager said the tires that were put on the truck were not for a truck, they were only for trailers.

Needless to say, I was a very angry person. When I started some unkind things to him, he said that he was going to make it right. I then said, “Just HOW are you going to make it right?” He replied that he was going to put six brand new tires on the truck.

Needless to say, I could not believe my ears. Would your tire company do that? This was a problem that was not his doing and it had taken place five years ago. He did not have to do this!

I do not know of any other tire company in this town that would have done this. This proved to me that they will stand behind their products and treat their clients honestly, reasonable and fairly. I implore everyone to give Travis every opportunity to help you.

I am happy that the election campaigning is over, but most of all the absence of political ads from both parties, blatantly lying about their opponents.
