Nye County District Attorney’s report

The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Christopher Lee Doyle was charged on Oct. 17 with burglary, a felony.

• Christopher Roger Kruse was charged on Oct. 18 with domestic battery, third offense; and assault with a deadly weapon, both felonies.

• Roy Pierce Jimenez was charged on Oct. 19 with second-degree kidnapping and battery with use of a deadly weapon, both felonies; and domestic battery, two counts, a misdemeanor.

• Daniel William Stepp was charged on Oct. 19 with offer, attempt or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to controlled substance, first offense; conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act, second offense; unlawful use of a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance; habitual criminal, all felonies and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

• Taneka Julianne Wynne was charged on Oct. 19 with conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act; unlawful use of a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance, all felonies; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

• Sandy Busse was charged on Oct. 19 with conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act; unlawful use of a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance, all felonies; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

• Caroline Rose Dolezal was charged on Oct. 20 with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle, both felonies.

• Robert Donald Griffith was charged on Oct. 20 with transportation of a controlled substance, first offense and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies; and offense involving stolen property; display fictitious license plate; no insurance; and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.

• Tomas Sabastian Payan-Avina was charged on Oct. 23 with child abuse and neglect, a felony; and injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

• Donald Dean Guthrie was charged on Oct. 24 with obtaining money under false pretenses from older person, a felony; and engaging in business or submitting bid without license and unlawful advertising, both misdemeanors.

• Joseph Darrell Anderson was charged on Oct. 24 with theft by embezzlement, $3,500 or more, a felony.

• Toby Reed Jones was charged on Oct. 6 with eluding peace officer; operation of off-highway vehicle without required tail or stop lamp; operation of off-highway vehicle without required headlamp; failure to wear helmet on off-highway vehicle while on highway; and littering, all misdemeanors.

• Jonathan Fredrick Humbarger was charged on Oct. 25 with improper display of license plate; driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended; no registration; and no insurance, all misdemeanors.

• Brandon Austin Reading was charged on Oct. 24 with battery, a misdemeanor.

• Veronica Marie Acedo was charged on Oct. 18 with disturbance and disturbing the peace, both misdemeanors.

• Lloyd Henryefton Peugh was charged in Oct. 20 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• Andrew Christopher Varkonyi was charged on Oct. 23 with basic speed, and driving under the influence of alcohol, both misdemeanors.
