Years in Business: “I have been in business for six years, we are new to Pahrump.”

Background: “I am a firearms instructor with my husband and I am approved to teach concealed weapons permits in Nevada, new permits and renewals. I am an NRA certified instructor. I teach basic through advanced firearms skills, as well as rifle and shotgun lessons.

I have been shooting since I was six and am still an avid hunter. I learned to hunt from my father. I teach a lot of women to shoot and think they feel more comfortable with a female instructor.”

Personal: “My husband and I shoot IDPA for fun, which is competitive shooting under pressure and in tactical situations.”

Business Climate: “What differentiates us from other instructors is me - being female. I feel we will survive because most instructors in this business are men. Most of our clients are women.”
