Age: 46

Background: "I have sold insurance for 16 years, both life insurance, investments, casualty and property. I am originally from Southern California where I worked out in San Bernardino with their sheriff's department. I was working CSI before there was CSI. I was called a crime analyst and I did that for about 10 years and then moved out to Pahrump to be with family in 2000. I was out here in Pahrump for 10 years and then moved to St. George, Utah. In Pahrump and St. George I sold insurance. I sold my Allstate business in Utah and came back to Pahrump a year ago."

First Job: "My first job was working with my parents for a petroleum company. I was 18. I managed the trucks for my parents."

Personal: "I of course love spending time with my kids, who are now fully grown and in college. We love to go to Dumont Dunes and ride quads. That's what I love to do, any kind of off-roading."

Years in business: "I have been selling insurance for 16 years."

Business climate: "Pahrump has a great business climate for the insurance business. We have a lot of first-time buyers and we have a lot of retired business. Pahrump has a great market to work in. The community is welcoming and thrives off referrals. People in Pahrump rely on references and so if you do a good job and take care of your clients, the word gets around."
