Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 6 – Nov. 10. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Chicken asparagus cheese melt, white rice, carrots, peach crisp, Northern bean soup;

Tuesday — Shepherd’s pie, spinach salad, muffin, banana, soup;

Wednesday – Turkey pot pie, mixed salad, 7-grain bread, baked apple, soup;

Thursday — Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, salad, fruit cup, soup;

Friday – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, spinach, salad with tomato, whole wheat bread, fruit cup, soup.

ACTIVITIES

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Humana, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday —Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Men’s Club, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Infinity Hospice Seminar, “Communications That Connect”, 10 a.m.; Rippets (knitting and crocheting), 11 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 6 – Nov. 10:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Lemon-baked fish, broccoli stuffed potato, steamed carrots, beet salad, whole wheat bread, melon;

Tuesday — Roast pork tenderloin, potato salad, baked beans, layered salad, fruit cocktail;

Wednesday — Lasagna, chopped spinach, garlic bread, mandarin oranges;

Thursday — Chicken pot pie with peas and carrots, layered salad, mandarin oranges;

Friday — Mexican egg casserole, oatmeal, yogurt with fruit, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 6 – Nov. 10:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday – Hamburger on whole wheat bun, sliced tomato/onion/lettuce, baked beans, cantaloupe chunks, French onion soup;

Tuesday — Baked pork chop, herbed whole wheat pasta, mixed vegetables, mandarin oranges;

Wednesday – Chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, black beans, peas, pears;

Thursday — Lemon-baked fish, broccoli stuffed potato, steamed carrots, beet salad, whole wheat bread with apple butter, honeydew melon, chowder.
