Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 7 – Nov. 11. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Chicken pasta primavera, colorful salad, garlic bread, orange/pineapple mold, soup;

Tuesday — Tamale pie, corn, salad, mixed fruit cup, garbanzo bean soup;

Wednesday — Sweet and sour pork, brown rice pilaf, cauliflower, layered salad, whole wheat bread, fresh fruit, soup;

Thursday — Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, salad, fruit cup, soup;

Friday – CLOSED – Veterans Day.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Wednesday — Humana open enrollment, 10 a.m.; S.H.I.P., 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Healthcare Partners sponsored Movie Day, 1 p.m.;

Thursday — Men’s Club breakfast, 7-9 a.m.; First National Bank Senior safety Seminar, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits (knitting/crocheting), 10:30 a.m.; NO EXERCISE CLASS;

Friday — CLOSED – Veterans Day.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 7 – Nov. 11:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Meatball sub, cucumbers in sour cream, pears, split pea soup;

Tuesday — Chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, whole wheat low-sodium crackers, fruit cocktail;

Wednesday — Sweet and sour pork, steamed rice, steamed broccoli, mandarin oranges;

Thursday — Lemon baked fish, whole wheat roll, green peas, brown rice, tossed salad, creamy Italian dressing, grapes;

Friday — CLOSED – Veterans Day.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 7 – Nov. 11:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, whole wheat low-sodium crackers, fruit cocktail;

Thursday — Lemon baked fish, whole wheat roll, green peas, brown rice, tossed salad, creamy Italian dressing, grapes.
