Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 17 – Oct. 21. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Sweet garlic chicken, angel hair pasta, asparagus, salad w/black beans, peach crisp, split pea soup;

Tuesday — Beef stir fry, rice, beet salad, whole wheat bread, mandarin oranges, soup;

Wednesday — Stuffed pork chop, yams, peas, garden salad, fruit cocktail, soup;

Thursday — Malibu chicken, rice, carrots, three-bean salad, pineapple slices, orange, black bean soup;

Friday – Salmon patty, spinach noodles, mixed veggies, Waldorf salad, whole wheat bread, fresh fruit, 7-bean soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Infinity Hospice Seminar, 10 a.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m., exercise class, 9:30 a.m., Humana, 10 a.m.; S.H.I.P. open enrollment, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 17 – Oct. 21:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Spinach lasagna, garlic bread, steamed zucchini, peaches;

Tuesday — Pork chop w/mushroom gravy, baked potato w/sour cream, broccoli, tossed salad, tangy yogurt salad dressing, banana;

Wednesday — Chicken broccoli and rice, whole wheat roll, pears;

Thursday — Spaghetti and meat sauce, baked acorn squash, colorful salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, 7-grain bread, low-sodium / low-fat margarine, strawberry banana yogurt pop;

Friday — Egg and spinach bake, turkey bacon, peaches, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 17 – Oct. 21:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Pork chop w/mushroom gravy, baked potato w/sour cream, broccoli, tossed salad, tangy yogurt salad dressing, banana;

Thursday — Spaghetti and meat sauce, baked acorn squash, colorful salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, 7-grain bread, low-sodium / low-fat margarine, strawberry banana yogurt pop.
