Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 31 – Nov. 4. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn w/lima beans, salad, whole wheat bread, fruit cup, soup;

Tuesday — Pork roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, whole wheat bread, pineapple chunks, navy bean soup;

Wednesday — Stuffed pepper, spinach noodles, salad, garlic toast, oranges, soup;

Thursday — Barbecued chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, 7-grain bread, banana, soup;

Friday – Spaghetti and meatballs, peas and carrots, garlic toast, salad, Jell-O with fruit, lentil soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Halloween costume contest, 11 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 10 a.m.;

Thursday — Men’s Club breakfast, 7-9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits (knitting/crocheting), 10:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7-9 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 31 – Nov. 4:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, banana;

Thursday — Turkey chili, cornbread, mixed green salad, low-sodium/low-fat Italian dressing, ambrosia.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 31 – Nov. 4:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Shepherd’s pie with peas and carrots, whole wheat roll, pears;

Tuesday — Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, banana;

Wednesday — Thin and crispy pizza, savory style beans, mixed fruit cocktail;

Thursday — Turkey chili, cornbread, mixed green salad, low-sodium/low-fat Italian dressing, ambrosia;

Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pineapple chunks, orange juice.
