Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of April 4 – April 8. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — Turkey pot pie, mixed salad, whole wheat bread, baked apple, soup;

Tuesday — Bacon wrapped pepper, Spanish rice, corn, fruit, churros, soup;

Wednesday — Chicken Cordon Bleu, salad w/tomato, parsley potatoes, broccoli, yogurt w/fruit, soup;

Thursday — Beef stir fry, rice, apple salad, whole wheat bread, mandarin oranges, soup;

Friday – Battered cod, rice pilaf, salad w/tomato, carrots, fruit, cake, soup.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 1 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Wednesday — Fire Safety Seminar, 9:30 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club meeting 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits knitting and crochet group, 10 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of April 4 – April 8:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Sweet and sour chicken, steamed brown rice, peas and carrots, fresh chopped spinach w/Catalina dressing, whole wheat bread, oatmeal date bar;

Tuesday — Honey glazed ham, sweet potato soufflé, green bean casserole, pears, salad bar;

Wednesday — Beef stew, noodles, garden salad, buttermilk biscuit, honey, Chantilly fruit cup;

Thursday — Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes and stuffing, green beans, pears, cranberry sauce;

Friday — Western omelet, potatoes O’Brien, banana, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of April 4 – April 8:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Spaghetti and meat sauce, baked acorn squash, colorful salad w/ Italian dressing, 7-grain bread, strawberry-banana yogurt pop;

Thursday — Chicken pasta, herbed vegetable medley, chopped fresh spinach w/ honey dressing, garlic bread, spiced applesauce, orange-banana juice.
