Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 19 – June 23. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Chicken w/broccoli and rice, beet salad, muffin, fruit, soup;

Tuesday — Meatball sub, cucumbers w/sour cream, orange, split pea soup;

Wednesday – Tuna stuffed tomato, muffin, mandarin oranges, turkey bean soup;

Thursday — Chicken fajita, Spanish rice, ranch style beans, spinach salad, pineapple chunks, soup;

Friday – Sloppy joes, peas and carrots, celery sticks, apple crisp, soup.

ACTIVITIES

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Nathan Adelson ice cream social, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Infinity Hospice Seminar, “Good Grief”, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 19 – June 23:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Italian rice and beef, tossed salad, red wine vinaigrette dressing, carrots, fresh apple, dinner roll;

Tuesday — BBQ pork ribs, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, steamed spinach, whole wheat bread, apples;

Wednesday — Turkey chili, cornbread, ambrosia, mixed green salad;

Thursday — Seasoned chicken nuggets, green beans with mushrooms, mashed sweet potatoes, tossed salad, gingerbread;

Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with sauteed veggies, low-sodium bacon, yogurt with fresh fruit, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 19 – June 23:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — BBQ chicken, roasted vegetables, broccoli salad, cracked wheat bread, apricot butter, Jell-O with fruit;

Wednesday – Spaghetti with meat sauce, mixed vegetables, garlic toast, colorful salad, pears;

Thursday — Beef nacho casserole, Spanish rice, Frijoles Charros, orange-spinach salad, purple plums.
