Area schools schedule annual Christmas concerts this week
With the holiday season in full swing, area schools began performing their respective Christmas concerts this week.
Tonight, students at Manse Elementary School, at 4881 N. Lola Lane, will hold its annual concert performance, courtesy of the second and fifth-grade classes, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
On Thursday, the first and third-grade classes are also scheduled to perform at 6:30 p.m.
Doors open at 6 p.m.
School officials urge parents to help their kids dress appropriately for the event.

Tuesday’s concert consisted of the kindergarten and fourth-grade classes at Manse.
Pahrump Valley High School has also scheduled two concert performances, tonight and Thursday, at 6:30 p.m.
Both concerts will be held in the school’s gymnasium at 501 E. Calvada Blvd.
