Employees and customers at Gold Town Casino took a brief unexpected break late Tuesday morning after a light fixture in the ceiling malfunctioned and began smoking. As a precaution, Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services were summoned, but the casino/restaurant resumed operations within a half hour. No injuries were reported.
