Resident disappointed with PVT parade coverage

I am very disappointed with the Pahrump Valley Times' coverage of the Fall Festival Parade.

There were 100-plus entries in the parade and you only showed three pictures. There were no pictures of the Ms. Senior Nye County's "American Bandstand" Grand Marshal first place trophy float. The Gunfighters' float also won an award, they also were not shown.

There were some very nice floats in the parade and none of them were shown except the Miss Teen float and the Silver Tappers marching, and that was nice, but there should have been more. People worked hard on those floats with no recognition for their efforts. How about the float with a large number of people on it? That was a nice sight to see. What about the ones on horseback, the vintage cars and the jeep club. No pictures there!!!

In the past, the Pahrump Valley Times had at least two full pages of pictures. I hope that next year will be better. They don't have to be big pictures, just more of them.

Not everyone is able to get out and watch the parade in person and it would have been nice to see the pictures in the paper.
