First and foremost, I would like to apologize to the citizens of Nye County for being put through yet another manufactured scandal involving those in public office. I can assure you that I would much rather be at my job earning my pay, than being removed from the workplace awaiting a hearing on Shirley Matson’s unilateral efforts to terminate my employment. These types of meritless hijinks only serve to further diminish the trust that the people of Nye County should have in those employed to serve the public.

GAME DAY: Trojans vs. Warriors for PVHS homecoming game

This week is homecoming for the Trojans as they face the Western Warriors at home and hope to improve to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in league play.

A few medical marijuana applicants fail to apply at state

All failed to apply for a provisional certificate from the state which is needed to go into operation.

State legislators for this area defended their votes last week during a special session called by the governor to pass tax abatements for the Tesla lithium battery gigafactory near Reno.

Volunteers chip in to clean up Willow Creek property

The Red Rock Audubon Society has applied for a Toyota Together Green grant to provide irrigation to about 20 acres at the former Willow Creek Golf Course, but if it isn’t approved, the Red Rock Audubon Society chapter will provide funding themselves, member Richard Cantino told county commissioners Tuesday.

Master plan update goes back to RPC

Both Trojans soccer teams take a loss

The Trojans fell to 0-3 after losing to the Clark Chargers on Friday afternoon, 3-2. Clark was one of the conference leaders last year and came to Pahrump positive they would win.
