Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of July 29 — Aug. 2: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, pudding;

Tuesday — grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, squash, fruit;

Wednesday — apple-smothered pork chop, stuffing, broccoli, spiced applesauce;

Thursday — cheese enchiladas, refried beans, fiesta corn, vanilla pudding;

Friday — salmon patty, rice, cauliflower, fruit.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; blind support, 23:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Palm Mortuary seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 1 p.m.

 

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 29 — Aug. 2:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — beef nacho casserole, Spanish rice, frijoles, churros, orange spinach salad, plums, pineapple juice;

Tuesday — turkey and bacon sandwich, pasta salad, steamed broccoli, apples, oatmeal cookie;

Wednesday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes with gravy, tomatoes viniagrette, mexicorn, whole wheat bread, apple butter, sliced peaches;

Thursday — oven-fried chicken, peas and carrots, Mediterranean soup, colorful salad, bread pudding snacks;

Friday — Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice, tea.
