Letters to the Editor

Thank you

I would like to thank everyone who came out to my Endorsement and Fundraiser at the Bob Ruud Community Center the evening of September 6, 2014. The words “Thank You” do not convey my deep appreciation for your time, participation and support for my campaign. I appreciate it all.

Many people volunteered their time to make this event a success and I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. All of the people working on my campaign are volunteers, unlike most campaigns I do not have a paid campaign manager and staff. We had a lot of hard workers and fantastic donations for the auction, and an auctioneer that made the night special in his own right.

We were forced to open the overflow room and set up additional tables to seat everyone. Please accept my apology that there was not enough room in the main room for everyone. Everyone seemed to have a great time in spite of the separation. Everyone was able to see and participate in the auction.

Thank you again for your support. If anyone would like to contact me, I am always available to answer questions, 775-209-6731 or electsharonfornyecountysheriff@gmail.com.

Inexpensive solution to accidents

Subject: Crashes at Highway 160/Mesquite and Highway 372/Blagg.

The quickest and least expensive solution is to install reduced speed limit signs (30 – 35 mph).

While this will not prevent crashes in these zones, it will save lives.

Letters to the Editor

I am happy that the election campaigning is over, but most of all the absence of political ads from both parties, blatantly lying about their opponents.
