Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 17 - Nov. 21:

2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — sweet garlic chicken over noodles, broccoli, fruit cup;

Tuesday — harvest stuffed peppers, dinner roll, pudding;

Wednesday — pulled pork sandwiches, potato wedges, green beans, ice cream;

Thursday — tuna noodle casserole, mixed veggies, cookies;

Friday — taco salad, mexicorn, churros.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; blood pressure checks, 9:30 a.m.;

Tuesday — Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 9:30 a.m., crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Walmart shopping day;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; seminar, “The Power of Attitude,” 9:30 a.m.; Stovall Legal Services, call 727-5008 for appointment;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; SHIP open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 17 - Nov. 21:

2 percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Fridays.

Monday — apricot turkey stir fry, fried rice, egg rolls, banana pudding;

Tuesday — baked chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans, dinner roll;

Wednesday — liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, chantilly fruit cup;

Thursday — hearty lasagna soup, asparagus, dinner roll;

Friday — biscuits and gravy, ham slices, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, coffee, tea, orange juice.

Bus service for those interested in eating at the senior center: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
