Citizens should fulfill civic duty obligation

As a United States citizen and member of the Pahrump community I was honored to serve my civic duty to be a member of a jury.

I was appalled at some of the comments made by others not wanting to serve. Those unable to serve due to age, sickness or disabilities is understandable. I found the time I spent doing my duty was an unforgettable experience. I was very impressed with Judge Wanker and the time she spent explaining to us our responsibility on determining the outcome.

I encourage all citizens that are able to fulfill their obligation to serve on a jury when called upon.
