Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Feb. 9 – Feb. 13. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — beef stew, cornbread, cauliflower, ice cream, soup;

Tuesday — chicken taco, Spanish rice, mexicorn, churros, soup;

Wednesday — ham steak, scalloped potatoes, peas and carrots, soup, cake;

Thursday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, soup, pudding;

Friday – sweet garlic chicken, angel hair pasta, asparagus, soup, cupcakes.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9:00 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; Republican Women meeting, 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m., seminar: Inspirations, “What is assisted living?”

Wednesday — Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m., Humana, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., Infinity Hospice seminar, “Care of patients with Alzheimer’s”, 10:00 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Feb. 9 – Feb. 13:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — chili dogs with cheese, French fries, peas and carrots, chocolate cake with cherry topping;

Tuesday — pork loin, baked sweet potatoes, steamed zucchini, white chocolate macadamia cranberry cookies;

Wednesday —baked meatloaf, rice casserole, baby carrots and celery, dinner roll, peach butter;

Thursday — applesauce ribs, scalloped potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, lemon lush cake. GAMES AND DESSERT from 5 – 7.

Friday — pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, strawberry topping (optional) for pancakes.
