Three arrested, one for attempted murder, after attacking woman

A woman was arrested on an attempted murder charge, and two others were arrested on various charges, in connection with an April 1 “jump” attack on a woman outside her home.

According to police, the victim was lured outside her residence by her child’s father, and was allegedly attacked by him, his current girlfriend and the girlfriend’s mother.

The victim, whose name was not released, was airlifted to Las Vegas with a collapsed lung after transporting herself to Desert View Hospital for a stab wound.

Stella Tallie, the girlfriend’s mother, was arrested on charges of attempted murder and battery, and was being held Tuesday in the Nye County Detention Center on $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash.

Andre Longmeier was arrested on charges of domestic battery, battery with use of a deadly weapon, child endangerment and kidnapping. Longmeier’s girlfriend, Toya Tallie, is being held on charges of battery, child endangerment and obstruction. Both are being held on $50,000 bond or $2,500 cash. All three are scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

The three were arrested after deputies with the Nye County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of a disturbance last Wednesday at an address on Hall Avenue.

Deputies spoke to the reporting party who reportedly said that the tenants in an apartment got in a fight that involved another individual, and a knife and a gun were seen during the altercation.

The reporting party explained that all three individuals left the scene when she said she was calling the police.

When deputies made contact with the victim at Indio Court, she reportedly said that she was “jumped” by Longmeier, Toya Tallie and Stella Tallie.

The victim explained to deputies that she had received text messages from Longmeier which included a picture of her house, stating, “come outside.” The victim went outside and was allegedly charged by Toya Tallie and a physical altercation ensued.

During the altercation, Longmeier allegedly removed a silver handgun from his person and slapped the victim with the gun, knocking her to the ground. Stella Tallie then allegedly began kicking and “stomping” the victim and saying “bitch, I’ll kill you,” and “hurry up, kill that bitch, I got to go to work.”

The victim’s minor child exited the residence and Longmeier allegedly told the victim to get the child, and the victim refused. When the victim refused, Longmeier allegedly pushed the victim to the ground and made an attempt to strike her.

According to the arrest report, Toya and Stella Tallie then began fighting with the victim, and Stella Tallie allegedly left and returned with a black-handled steak knife. The victim and Stella Tallie began wrestling for the knife. While the victim was on the ground, she was repeatedly kicked and hit by Toya Tallie and Longmeier.

Longmeier then allegedly grabbed the child and put the child in the vehicle.

When the victim attempted to get the child out of the vehicle, Longmeier allegedly began to repeatedly hit her while she was holding the child in her arms.

Deputies subsequently learned the victim has sole custody of the child.

Deputies observed several injuries on the victim consisting of bumps and scrapes on her face as well as a penetrating stab wound to the middle of her upper back and a cut to her forearm.

When deputies attempted to make contact with the victim, they learned that she took herself to the Desert View Hospital emergency room.

Deputies subsequently learned that the victim’s injuries required her to be airlifted to Las Vegas for treatment.

When deputies made contact with Stella Tallie she reportedly admitted to being involved in the altercation, and said she may have kicked the victim as well as restraining the victim’s wrist.

Stella Tallie said that Longmeier allegedly removed the knife from the victim’s hand and threw it. As deputies were interviewing Stella Tallie they observed a black-handled steak knife in the sink.

When deputies made contact with Longmeier and Toya Tallie at a residence on Hall Avenue, both gave conflicting reports about what happened. Deputies questioned Longmeier about placing his minor child in his vehicle and he reportedly stated he was going to take his daughter with him when he left after the fight.

Longmeier reportedly admitted he had no legal custody of the child and there was no court order in effect.

Deputies noted in the arrest report that when they arrived on scene, Toya Tallie refused to identify herself.
