Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Jan 5 – Jan. 9. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — BBQ chicken, baked potato, corn, soup, yogurt;

Tuesday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, soup, cake;

Wednesday — grilled ham and cheese sandwich, Normandy blend, soup, fruit cup;

Thursday — tuna noodle casserole, mixed veggies, soup, cookie;

Friday – open faced roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, soup, pudding.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9:00 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m., shopping day;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — Meadows Bank seminar, 9:30 a.m., exercise class, 10:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Jan. 5 – Jan. 9:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — chicken Tetrazzini, mixed vegetables, broccoli salad, whole wheat dinner roll, apple butter, cherry apricot granola cup;

Tuesday — sweet and sour pork, brown rice, steamed cauliflower, egg rolls, Rice Krispie treat;

Wednesday —BBQ beef sandwiches, corn on the cob, baked beans, peach cobbler;

Thursday — spinach lasagna, colorful salad, garlic bread;

Friday — Denver scramble with ham, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms; hash browns; oatmeal; yogurt with mixed berries.
