Are majority of residents against roundabouts?

The Town Board of Pahrump was voted out by the people of Pahrump because they did not listen or do what was important to the residents. Now the County Commissioners are representing us.

The overwhelming majority of the residents want a temporary or permanent traffic light at Highway 372 and Pahrump Valley Boulevard and at Highway 372 and Blagg Road. We don’t want or need roundabouts at these important intersections.

Tony Illia of Nevada Department of Transportation says they put roundabouts in Las Vegas in 1990. You never to this day seeany roundabouts on a main highway in Las Vegas. So why would NDOT and the County Commissioners want to put two roundabouts on our Highway 372 and spend millions of taxpayers’ money?

So PLEASE Commissioners, use your powers, your influence and your common sense to take care of this urgent matter now. Not next month or next year. Start out with temporary traffic lights like you did at Highway 160 and Homestead.

NDOT will do what you want them to do. Commissioners, will you be our heroes to help prevent so many accidents, injury or death at these intersections?

Who will we blame?? We know you have the money so use it now please.
