Background: "My father started the business in Lake Havasu, Arizona. The business is family run and I am continuing the business. We have been in the business for more than 40 years. I now have my MBA, but I never really thought I would still be in the battery business. I enjoy the challenge of building a business, for it's tough to build one. I came to Pahrump looking for similar demographics to Lake Havasu and I think I found them in Pahrump. I think Pahrump is an ideal place for our store that carries special batteries."

Years in business: "Very close to 19 years in this business."

Personal: "I like to hang out with my son, who is 11 months and we love to roughhouse and play on the swings. I also like riding motorcycles out in the country."

Business Climate: "We chose Pahrump because it had the right amount of people and was very similar to Lake Havasu. I see Pahrump as an emerging market. All the big players are there like Home Depot and Walmart and they can't be wrong, right? Pahrump also has all the major auto stores. I think Pahrump is like the sleeping giant. I also like the number of residents it has. When I drove through I really didn't know it was that big."
