Pahrump Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Jan. 11– Jan. 15. Two percent milk and juice available daily:
Monday — chile relleno casserole, Spanish rice, churros, soup;
Tuesday — Salisbury steak, au gratin potatoes, corn, pudding, soup;
Wednesday — spaghetti and meatballs, zucchini, garlic bread, yogurt, soup;
Thursday — chicken cordon bleu, parsley potatoes, green beans, cake, soup;
Friday – chili, cornbread, fruit, soup.
Activities
Monday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 10:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;
Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;
Wednesday — Humana, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;
Thursday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 – 3 p.m.;
Friday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.
Amargosa Valley Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of Jan. 11 – Jan. 15
Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday — tacos, Mexi-corn, pears, chocolate pudding;
Tuesday — sweet and sour chicken, steamed brown rice, peas and carrots, spinach salad, whole wheat roll, oatmeal date bar;
Wednesday — grilled ham and cheese sandwich, steamed zucchini, sliced tomatoes, mixed fruit;
Thursday — baked stuffed pork chop, steamed spinach, baked beans, whole wheat roll, applesauce;
Friday — pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, pears, oatmeal, orange juice.
Beatty Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of Jan. 11 – Jan. 15
Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Monday — biscuits and gravy, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, mixed berries;
Tuesday — baked chicken, baked potato, zucchini, melon, applesauce cake;
Wednesday — sweet and sour pork, brown rice pilaf, steamed cauliflower, layered salad, whole wheat bread w/low salt margarine, fresh peach;
Thursday — tacos, black beans, pineapple, brownie;
Friday — hot turkey sandwich, peas and carrots, tomatoes vinaigrette, oatmeal raisin cookie, fresh orange sections.
