Warm, pleasant temperatures expected for Labor Day weekend

The weather in the Pahrump Valley will be fairly uneventful for the holiday weekend and beyond.

Average to just below average high temperatures and sunny skies and will usher in the first week of September, the National Weather Service said.

A high temperature of 97 degrees is expected today, with breezy conditions, as winds will gust up 21 mph through tonight.

“No rain chances that far west, it’s all even east of Las Vegas,” said Caleb Steele, National Weather Service meteorologist. “It will be pretty breezy Friday, looking like winds sustained around 15 mph or so.”

Tuesday through Thursday will see high temperatures ranging from 91 to 93 degrees, with sunny skies. Lows will be in the low 70s throughout those three days.
