Pahrump Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 12 – Sept. 16. Two percent milk and juice available daily:
Monday – Beef patty on whole wheat bun, baked fries, sliced tomato/onion, pineapple chunks, carrot cake, soup;
Tuesday — Chili, cornbread, green salad, fresh fruit, soup;
Wednesday — Beef stew, noodles, garden salad, buttermilk biscuit, mixed fruit, soup;
Thursday — Baked pork chop, squash, lettuce and tomato salad, whole wheat bread, banana, soup;
Friday – Chicken Cordon Bleu, parsley potatoes, salad w/garbanzo beans, yogurt w/strawberries, soup.
Activities
Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;
Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Wednesday — Humana, 10 a.m.; Michaelson Law Seminar (elder law), 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;
Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Infinity Hospice Seminar, 10 a.m.; Rippets (knitting and crocheting), 10 a.m., haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m., exercise class, 9:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.
Amargosa Valley Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 12 – Sept. 16:
Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday — Turkey chili, cornbread, mixed green salad, ambrosia;
Tuesday — Chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, whole wheat roll, fruit cocktail;
Wednesday — Roast beef au jus, steamed white rice, sliced tomatoes, oatmeal bran muffin, apple jelly, canned apricot halves;
Thursday — Thin and crispy pizza, savory style beans, bean combo, tossed calico vegetable salad, creamy Italian dressing, applesauce;
Friday — Egg, ham and cheese bake, home fries, fresh banana, yogurt, orange juice.
Beatty Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 12 – Sept. 16:
Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.
Tuesday — Chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, whole wheat roll, fruit cocktail;
Thursday — Thin and crispy pizza, savory style beans, bean combo, tossed calico vegetable salad, creamy Italian dressing, applesauce.
