Pleasant, sunny weather ahead for next 7 days

Pahrump Valley residents can expect a pleasant week ahead, as mostly calm, sunny conditions and slightly above-average temperatures are forecast.

The National Weather Service said that temperatures over the next seven days should range between 77 and 79 degrees, with overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 50s.

No significant weather system is expected to roll through the area for at least the next seven days, offering a plethora of sunshine.

“For the most part it looks sunny for the week and we don’t have any rain chances,” said Chris Outler, National Weather Service meteorologist.

Aside for a few afternoon breezes, which are common around this time of year, according to Outler, winds will be light, not blowing over 10 mph.

“We really don’t expect anything noteworthy,” he said.

Election Day Tuesday will see a high temperature of 77 degrees as voters make their way to the polls to vote for the various races. An overnight low of 55 is expected, when the country should know who is the next president of the United Statesis.
