Idaho murder suspect captured in Pahrump

A Idaho man wanted for murder was captured in Pahrump by the Nye County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeremy James White, 39, was apprehended by sheriff’s deputies Friday. He is wanted for second degree homicide out of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

A tip from investigators in Idaho that White could be in Pahrump visiting family initiated the manhunt.

During the search, sheriff deputies conducted a felony traffic stop on White’s vehicle when it was spotted in the area of Mt. Charleston Drive and Red Butte Street.

White was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Nye County Detention Center on the second degree murder warrant.

A female passenger in White’s vehicle was questioned and subsequently released.

Investigators are coordinating with Idaho Falls authorities to complete the investigation.

White was booked into the Nye County Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Idaho for the felony charge.
