The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Tonya Devaul was charged on Feb. 28 with open or gross lewdness in the presence of a child or vulnerable person; indecent or obscene exposure in the presence of a child or vulnerable person, both felonies.

• Matthew J. Metcalf was charged on March 1 with eluding peace officer with endangerment to person(s) or property, a felony; vehicle entering intersection marked ‘stop’ or ‘yield’, three counts; driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic, three counts; aggressive driving; operation of vehicle on approach of authorized emergency vehicle or official vehicle of regulatory agency; basic speed; obstructing a public officer; certain unlawful acts; no driver’s license in possession; operation of off-highway vehicle on undesignated paved highway; and operation of off-highway vehicle on highway without required equipment, all misdemeanors.

• James Michael Lucas was charged on March 3 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony; and unsafe backing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Terrie Dinorah DeVito was charged on March 8 with driving under the influence of alcohol, with prior felony DUI conviction, a felony; and injury to other property, $250 to $5,000, a gross misdemeanor.

• Darla Lee Christie was charged on March 8 with possession of a controlled substance, with priors, two counts, a felony.

• Juan Ruiz was charged on March 14 with trafficking in a controlled substance; offer, attempt, or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to controlled substance, first offense; eluding peace officer with endangerment to person(s) or property; and unlawful use of a controlled substance, all felonies; and driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance; vehicle entering intersection marked ‘stop’ or ‘yield’ and driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic, all misdemeanors.

• Donald Ray Sanderson was charged on March 8 with unlawful trespass upon land; resisting public officer; assault upon an officer, a gross misdemeanors and assault, all misdemeanors.

• Jackie Elizabeth Kalbow was charged on March 8 with unlawful trespass upon land; resisting public officer; and assault, all misdemeanors.

• Donald Ray Sanderson was charged on March 16 with unlawful use of a controlled substance; battery by a prisoner; and trafficking in a schedule I controlled substance, all felonies; and battery upon a peace officer, a gross misdemeanor.

• Ericka Lynn Towner was charged on Feb. 21 with child abuse and neglect, a gross misdemeanor.

• Ronald Earl McQueen was charged on Feb. 23 with use of system providing telephone number to be used in emergency when no actual or perceived emergency exists, a gross misdemeanor.

• Richard Michael Thomas Burnell was charged on March 2 with throwing substance at or willfully damaging bicycle or motor vehicle, loss of $250 to $5,000; and injury to other property, $250 to $5,000, both gross misdemeanors.

• Miguel Anjel Meza was charged on Feb. 17 with obstructing a public officer, a misdemeanor.

• Jacki L. Freeman was charged on Feb. 17 with unlawful possession of prohibited live wildlife species; and possession of live wildlife without a license/permit, both misdemeanors.

• Joseph Charles Woolbright was charged on Feb. 21 with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, second offense; having open container of alcoholic beverage within passenger area of motor vehicle while on highway; drinking alcoholic beverage while driving motor vehicle; driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic, two counts, all misdemeanors.

• Timothy James Persson was charged on Feb. 27 with walking or riding animal on highway under influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, a misdemeanor.

• Jamie A. Bircumshaw was charged on Feb. 28 with offense involving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• Kit Yvonne Ponischil was charged on Feb. 28 with offense involving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• Matthew James O’Connor was charged on Feb. 28 with offense involving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• David Scott Tingler was charged on March 1 with domestic battery, second offense, a misdemeanor.
