Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Dec. 16 – Dec. 20: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — philly cheese steak, glazed carrots, pudding;

Tuesday — barbecue chicken, baked beans, potato salad, fruit cup;

Wednesday — chili cheese fries, green beans, ice cream;

Thursday — pulled pork sandwiches, summer squash, potato wedges, fruit cup;

Friday — cheese enchilada, Spanish rice, mexicorn, churros.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; Bill Dolan, town hall meetings, 9:30 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — seminar on planning for the unknown, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Stovall legal services, call 727-5008 for appointment;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; blood pressure checks, 9:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Dec. 16 – Dec. 20:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — French dip with au jus, baked onion rings, layered salad, pineapple upside down cake;

Tuesday — shepherd’s pie, steamed spinach, sliced tomatoes with vinegar and oil, cherry cheesecake;

Wednesday — black bean and sweet potato chili, dinner roll, Brussels sprouts, chocolate chip cookies;

Thursday — Christmas dinner: beef rib roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, roll, fruit salad, apple pie, hot chocolate, apple cider;

Friday — Breakfast: breakfast burrito, scrambled eggs, ham, hash browns with cheese, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice, tea.
