Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of April 21 - April 26: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — Easter ham, au gratin potatoes, green bean casserole, fruit salad, carrot cake;

Tuesday — patty melt, French fries, cauliflower, strawberry cake;

Wednesday — fried chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, sliced peaches;

Thursday — shepherd’s pie, mixed veggies, ice cream;

Friday —grilled ham and cheese sandwich, tomato basil soup, green beans, rice pudding.

Activities

Monday —Easter dinner; blood pressure and glucose checks, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.;

Tuesday — bridge, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Senior Dimensions, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; Infinity Hospice seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Saturday — Creekside Hospice rummage sale on Calvada Boulevard, proceeds benefit the Senior Center.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of April 21 - April 25:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Cajun baked cod, broccoli stuffed potato, garden salad, Caesar Italian dressing, lemon tart;

Tuesday — cheeseburger skillet, salad, balsamic viniagrette, dinner roll, fruit cocktail;

Wednesday — baked chicken tenders, potato wedges, beets in orange sauce, ambrosia, carrot and raisin salad;

Thursday — honey apricot chicken, wild rice, California blend veggies, fruit salad;

Friday — Breakfast: French toast, scrambled eggs, country fries, ham, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice, tea.
