On Friday Pahrump Valley High School graduated 215 students and of these there were more than 60 honor graduates. For some of the graduates college is now on their mind. In addition to a diploma, some students received some cold hard cash to apply to college through scholarships.
It was movie day at the Pahrump Valley Speedway as a movie production company called Romeo Sampson Pictures was there on Saturday filming a movie called “Poor Boy.”

Connie Mack baseball started in Pahrump on Saturday for the 14 U group. They played their first game at home and were swept by the Bulldogs, 12-2 and 11-3.
They are called the “Fabulous Six” this year, and all will vie for the title of Ms. Senior Golden Years next month as the paegeant returns to the Saddle West Hotel Casino.
