Each Semester Soroptimist International Pahrump Valley awards the Marlys J. CNA Scholarship to women in our community with financial needs who are trying to improve their career prospects.

This scholarship is made possible thanks to the generosity of LD Mikaeljohn, who wanted to find a special way to honor his beloved wife.

Pictured are this semester winners: Mary Maxie, Amanda Abbey, LD Mikealjohn, Guadalupe Manrioni, Mary Manrioni and Scholarship Chair Dawn Krolczyk.
