Key Club Halloween

The Pahrump Valley High School Key Club will partner with Pahrump Auto Plaza to put on their annual Halloween bash.

Join them for games, candy and lots of fun on Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. Be sure wear a costume.

Trunk or Treats

Trunk or Treat with RNG Farms on Halloween, Oct 31, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. You can stop by and visit them in the Glen Lerner parking lot, located at 2220 Nevada West Blvd.

Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church on Gamebird Road will also be holding a Trunk O’Treat o from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with candy, a bounce house, games, food, popcorn, prizes and much more.

The Moose Lodge, located at 1100 Second St., will have a Trunk or Treat in their parking lot from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Another Trunk N Treat will be held in the Petrack Park parking lot, starting at 4:00 p.m., and is sponsored by the Cast-A-Ways car club. Come see the classic cars and grab treats from their trunks.

The Valley Cruisers Car Club will also be holding their second annual Trunk or Treat Rally at Phantom Fireworks and Shear Talent, located at 921 S. Highway 160, starting at 4:00 p.m.

All children are welcome.

Halloween Spooktacular

The Pahrump Youth Advisory Board will present a Halloween Spooktacular at Bob Ruud Community Center, Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be trick-or-treating as well as a costume contest. Entrance is free with a cool costume. Those without costumes may enter for a $2 donation.

Ages 1 through 8 are preferable and those under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cruisers caravan

The Valley Cruisers of Pahrump car club will be caravanning to Beatty for their Beatty Days celebration on Nov. 1. They will meet at Around the World on Highway 160 and Simkins at 7:00 a.m.

Some will want to be in the parade at 9:00 a.m., and some will want to enter the car show. You can return to Pahrump when you wish.

VFW craft show

The VFW Post, located at 4651 Homestead Road will have a Harvest Festival craft show event Nov. 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The event will have lots of vendors, from homemade crafts, direct sales, small businesses and more. They will have raffles every 15 minutes.

Moose donation dinner

Pahrump Moose Lodge #808 has joined forces with the Lions Club to make sure every child up to 14 years of age has a gift from Santa.

The community is being asked to help by attending a donation dinner on Nov. 9, at the Moose Lodge, located at 1100 E. Second Street. There will also be a bake sale and raffle.

Dinner is being served from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The menu will be chicken ala king over noodles, salad and roll.

All funds raised will go to the Lions Club Letters to Santa Project.

Food drive

A food drive has begun to benefit the homeless of Pahrump. All food donations will go to the New Hope Fellowship Church food bank.

Bring your donations of canned goods, boxed items and other non-perishables to The New Outer You Beauty Salon at 1971 Pahrump Valley Blvd.

Holiday arts and crafts sale

The artistic Divas and Dudes of Pahrump present their third annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show on Nov. 7, from noon to 5:00 p.m., and Nov. 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Bob Ruud Community Center.

Proceeds from the raffle will go to our local Ham Operators at ARES/RACES. The Pahrump Valley Lions Club will serve grilled lunch items.
