Years in business: “I have over 25 years of experience owning a dance studio.”

Background: “Dancing is my life and I was always dancing as a child. I can’t remember not. I always wanted to be a ballet dancer growing up and I made it. I was a member of the Bakersfield Ballet Company. Our dance studio teaches jazz, ballet, tap, acrobatic, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical and modern. I am originally from Arkansas. I have several world class dancers. We teach from two-and-a-half years old and up. I have had some students as old as 75.”

First job: “My first job was teaching at a dance studio at the age of 16.”

Personal: “I am constantly doing something with the arts. I love to choreograph dances in my spare time. I also design my costumes. My costumes have won awards.”

Business climate: “Dance is my whole life. When we relocated to Pahrump, I wasn’t not going to teach. I really can’t imagine life without it.”
