Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of May 22 – May 26. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – BLT on whole wheat bread, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, fruit, soup;

Tuesday — Chicken verde casserole, Mexican corn, rice, fruit, soup;

Wednesday – Stuffed pork chop, yams, lima beans and peas, garden salad, fruit cocktail, soup;

Thursday — Tuna noodle casserole, veggie medley, sliced tomato, whole wheat bread, oatmeal cookie, black bean soup;

Friday – Salmon patty, spinach noodles, mixed veggies, Waldorf salad, whole wheat bread, orange, soup.

ACTIVITIES

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Blind Support, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits crocheting/knitting, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 22 – May 26:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Spinach lasagna, garlic bread, mixed fruit, colorful salad;

Tuesday — Chicken broccoli rice, beet salad, apricot bran muffin, honeydew melon/cantaloupe, split pea soup;

Wednesday — Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed zucchini, black bean salad, whole wheat roll, peaches;

Thursday — Pork chow mein, steamed rice, chopped spinach, balsamic vinaigrette, whole wheat bread, apple butter, sliced pineapple;

Friday — Scrambled eggs w/spinach, biscuits and gravy, low-sodium bacon, yogurt w/ fresh fruit, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 22 – May 26:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Chicken broccoli rice, beet salad, apricot bran muffin, honeydew melon/cantaloupe;

Wednesday – Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, whole wheat bread, peach butter, Chantilly fruit cup;

Thursday — Baked pork chops, brown rice, sweet peas and carrots, peaches, applesauce.
