The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of May 8 -May 12. Two percent milk and juice available daily:
Monday – Chicken Cordon Bleu, parsley potatoes, green beans, cake, veggie soup;
Tuesday — Spaghetti w/meat sauce, squash, colorful salad, 7-grain bread, yogurt, soup;
Wednesday – Turkey bacon wrap, corn, cucumber salad, fruit cup, pinto bean soup;
Thursday — Orange chicken, rice, snow peas, oriental salad, fruit, Northern bean soup;
Friday – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, spinach, salad w/tomato, whole wheat bread, fruit cup, soup.

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.;
Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Humana, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Wednesday — Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m.; Infinity Hospice seminar “Dementia”, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;
Thursday — Old Men’s Club, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits (crocheting/knitting), 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.
Amargosa Valley Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 8 – May 12:
Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday — Chicken tenders, oven fries, steamed spinach, peaches, chocolate pudding;
Tuesday — Sloppy joes on whole wheat bun, baked beans, baby carrots, fruit cocktail;
Wednesday — Baked pork chops, twice-baked potato, steamed broccoli, applesauce, lentil soup, cookie;
Thursday — Beef stroganoff with noodles, baked acorn squash, orange-spinach salad, whole wheat bread, apple;
Friday — Scrambled eggs w/onion and peppers, biscuits and gravy, low-sodium sausage, oatmeal w/raisins, fresh fruit, orange juice.
Beatty Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 8 – May 12:
Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Tuesday — Chicken parmesan, whole wheat spaghetti, steamed spinach, tossed salad w/chick peas, pineapple chunks;
Wednesday – Chicken salad sandwich, baby carrots, celery sticks, grapefruit sections, onion soup;
Thursday — Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, banana.
