Rockin’ Mockers play Mountain Springs Saloon Sunday

The Rockin’ Mockers band will perform at the Mountain Springs Saloon on Sunday, July 20th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lunch is available for purchase.

The Mockers are an alter-ego of the Sixties Sensations and Guitars And Cadillacs bands, which play every era of music. Many of the musicians are drawn from the Sensations.

Its performance will include classic rock such as “Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love Babe” by Barry White, “Honky Tonk Woman” by the Rolling Stones and “Gloria” by Van Morrison.

The old country selections will feature “Jambalaya” by Hank Williams, “Blue Bayou” by Roy Orbison. Also included are “This Time Around” by Katrina Marie and “Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places” by Johnny Lee.

The 60’s era will cover such hits as “All Of The Day And All Of The Night” by The Kinks, “Hot Child in the City” by Nick Gilder.

In addition this era will include some of the Beatles hits like “You Can’t Do That” and “Come Together.”

Members of the band are Hal Singer on rhythm and lead guitar. He is also the lead vocalist.

Singer is founder and leader of all three bands. Marty Carreia plays the drums.

Johnny Rocker plays bass and is the other vocalist for the band.

The three bands share a large fan base. Each band plays, depending on the venue, at the Riviera Hotel and Casino, Rampart Casino and Club Fontana in Las Vegas.

They also appear at Gold Strike Hotel &Casino in Jean and the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin.

They also perform locally at The HUBB, Maverick Saloon and Dance Hall, and the Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino.

The Mountain Springs Saloon is located at 3325 Highway 160 at the top of Spring Mountain pass. Look for the sign on this side of the hump.
