Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 16 – Oct. 20: Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Low-sodium kielbasa, sauerkraut, parsley potatoes, yogurt with fruit, soup;

Tuesday — Beef stew, noodles, salad, biscuit with honey, fruit cup, soup;

Wednesday – Chicken fajitas, Spanish rice, ranch-style beans, spinach salad, pineapple, black bean soup;

Thursday — Pork roast with gravy, stuffing, yams, green beans, fruit cup, soup;

Friday – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, spinach, salad with tomato, whole wheat bread, fruit cup, soup.

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Humana open enrollment, 10 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Health Plans open enrollment, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday —Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 10 a.m.;

Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 16 – Oct. 20:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Cheese ravioli, whole wheat garlic bread, black bean salad, fresh melon, mandarin oranges;

Tuesday — BBQ chicken, baked acorn squash, cucumbers in sour cream, whole wheat bread, honey, ambrosia;

Wednesday — Hot turkey sandwich, peas and carrots, tomatoes vinaigrette, Rice Krispie treat, peaches;

Thursday — Spinach lasagna, steamed cauliflower, garden salad, garlic bread, cherry-apricot granola cup;

Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with veggies, low-sodium sausage, oatmeal with raisins, banana, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 16 – Oct. 20:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday – Open-faced turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, cranberry sauce, peaches;

Tuesday — Pork chop with mushroom gravy, baked potato with sour cream, broccoli, tossed salad, tangy yogurt salad dressing, banana;

Wednesday – Garlic roasted chicken, seasoned egg noodles, sweet peas, fresh fruit in season, whole wheat roll;

Thursday — Spaghetti and meat sauce, baked squash, colorful salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, 7-grain bread, strawberry/banana yogurt.
