Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 22 – Sept. 26:

2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — open-faced turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, peas, apple crisp;

Tuesday — cabbage rolls, Normandy blend veggies, cake;

Wednesday — pulled pork sandwiches, potato wedges, green beans, pudding;

Thursday — eggplant parmesan, pasta, Normandy veggies, bread pudding;

Friday — garlic chicken with noodles, cheesy broccoli, fruit cup.


Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; Elder Abuse seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions, 9:30; blind support, 12:30 p.m.; flu shot clinic, 9 a.m. to noon;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; “Enriching the Present/Recalling the Past” seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 22 – Sept. 26:

2 percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — baked liver and onions, mexicorn, tomatoes viniagrette, mashed potatoes with gravy, dinner roll, sliced peaches;

Tuesday — honey dijon chicken fries, steamed squash, macaroni salad, gelatin with fruit;

Wednesday — tuna pita melt with pesto/sun-dried tomatoes/red peppers/mozzarella, California blend veggies;

Thursday — spaghetti with meat sauce, steamed broccoli and carrots, garlic bread;

Friday — French toast, country fries, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice, tea.

Bus service for those interested: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
