Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of July 21 – July 25, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes, carrots, rice pudding;

Tuesday — pulled pork sandwiches, squash, potato wedges, fruit cup;

Wednesday — cheese enchiladas, Spanish rice, mexicorn, churros;

Thursday — chicken cordon bleu, parsley potatoes, peas and carrots, cake;

Friday — closed for member appreciation day..

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9:00 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; blood pressure and glucose checks, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; heart disease seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — shopping day, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions team meeting, 9:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — closed for membership appreciation day.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 21 – July 25:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — stuffed peppers, spinach spaghetti, garlic bread, birthday cake;

Tuesday — turkey pot pie, mixed green salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, grain bread, peach jam;

Wednesday — herb-baked chicken, steamed spinach, peas and onions, mixed berry cobbler;

Thursday — tuna noodle casserole, veggie medley, sliced tomatoes, wheat bread, apple butter, oatmeal date bar;

Friday — biscuits and gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, fruit, coffee/tea/orange juice.

Bus service for those interested: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
