Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 24 – Oct. 28. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Chicken Rosa, noodles, spinach, tomato salad, pineapple cake, pinto bean soup;

Tuesday — Sloppy joe on whole wheat bun, baked beans, baby carrots, fruit cocktail, soup;

Wednesday — Chicken broccoli and rice, cucumber salad, muffin, fresh fruit, soup;

Thursday — Low-sodium ham steak, peas and carrots, black beans, au-gratin potatoes, salad, Jell-O w/fruit, lentil soup;

Friday – CLOSED – Nevada Day.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — JK Nelson Law Firm, 9:30 a.m., call 727-5008 for appt.; Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Blind Support, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits (knitting/crocheting), 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.;

Friday — CLOSED – Nevada Day.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 24 – Oct. 28:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Beef stroganoff with noodles, steamed broccoli, whole wheat bread, fresh apple;

Tuesday — Turkey fajita, Spanish rice, ranch style beans, chopped spinach, low-fat low sodium French dressing, pineapple chunks;

Wednesday — Potato crunch fish, steamed broccoli, peaches, cherry cobbler;

Thursday — Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, layered salad, fresh orange;

Friday — CLOSED – Nevada Day.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 24 – Oct. 28:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Turkey fajita, Spanish rice, ranch style beans, chopped spinach, low-fat low sodium French dressing, pineapple chunks;

Thursday — Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, layered salad, fresh orange.
