Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 2 — Sept. 6: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — closed;

Tuesday — cheeseburgers, baked beans, ice cream;

Wednesday — hot roast beef sub, summer squash, cake;

Thursday — eggplant parmesan, pasta, Normandy veggies, bread pudding;

Friday — battered cod, tater tots, peas and carrots, brownies.

Activities

Monday — closed;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; blood pressure checks, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions low-income subsidies seminar, 9:30 a.m.

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 2 — Sept. 6:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — closed;

Tuesday — baked chicken, Brussels sprouts, yams, green salad, apple crisp;

Wednesday — cheese enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans, mixed veggies, albondigas soup;

Thursday — pork chops, mashed sweet potatoes, spinach, oatmeal cookies;

Friday — Breakfast: hash browns, bacon, French toast, oatmeal, pears, coffee, orange juice, tea.
