Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 9 – Sept. 13: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — country fried steak, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, pears;

Tuesday — herb baked chicken, rice pilaf, carrots, cake;

Wednesday — hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, peas, fruit;

Thursday — spaghetti and meatballs, green beans, applesauce;

Friday — baked tilapia, steamed rice, mixed veggies, pineapple cake.

Activities

Monday — beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; Republican Women meet, 7 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Humana, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Stovall legal services, call 727-5008 for appointments;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; HealthCare Partners meet and greet.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 9 – Sept. 13:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — turkey chili, cornbread, squash, apricot crisp;

Tuesday — beef stir-fry, steamed white rice, beet salad, whole wheat bread, Mandarin oranges;

Wednesday — tuna cakes, potato wedges, broccoli and cheese, green salad, strawberries with vanilla yogurt;

Thursday — barbecue chicken, baked beans, zucchini, green salad, oatmeal date bar;

Friday — Breakfast: waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, oatmeal, peaches, coffee, orange juice, tea.
