Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of April 25 – April 29. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — Sweet and sour pork, rice, cauliflower, salad, whole wheat bread, oranges, soup;

Tuesday — Turkey sandwich, carrot-raisin salad, fruit, corn potato chowder, soup;

Wednesday — Smothered burrito, corn, salad, fruit cup, churros, soup;

Thursday — Herb-baked chicken, stuffing, peas and onions, salad, fruit, soup;

Friday – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, whole wheat bread, fruit, soup.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 1 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Wednesday — Blind Support, 12:30 p.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club meeting 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits Knitting &Crochet Group, 10 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of April 25 – April 29:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Turkey chili, steamed carrots, cornbread, peaches, cake;

Tuesday — Spaghetti w/ meat sauce, baked acorn squash, colorful salad, whole wheat roll, strawberry and banana yogurt;

Wednesday — French dip, French roll, tater tots, broccoli salad, tropical fruit cup;

Thursday — Herb-baked chicken, baked potato w/sour cream and chives, veggie medley, whole wheat bread, fresh apple;

Friday — Egg and ham scramble with or w/o cheese, oatmeal, fresh fruit in season, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of April 25 – April 29:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Swiss steak w/tomato sauce, brown rice, chopped broccoli, spring salad, garlic French dressing, savory style beans, pineapple poppy seed salad;

Thursday — BBQ chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, corn on the cob w/low-fat margarine, 7-grain bread, apple butter, fresh banana.
