Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 6 – June 10. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Swiss steak, baked potato, Normandy blend veggies, whole wheat bread, pudding with fruit, lentil soup;

Tuesday — Chef salad, whole wheat roll, carrot/celery sticks, mandarin oranges, cake, soup;

Wednesday — Apple-smothered pork chop, green beans, salad, cranberry sauce, carrot cake, Northern bean soup;

Thursday — Orange chicken, rice, green beans, oriental salad, Jell-O with fruit, soup;

Friday – Spaghetti and meatballs, garlic toast, zucchini, colorful salad, yogurt with fruit, soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club meeting, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits Knitting &Crochet Group, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

 

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 6 – June 10:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Shepherd’s pie, whole wheat roll, garden salad, pears;

Tuesday — Fish tacos, Frijoles Charros, honeydew melon and cantaloupe;

Wednesday — Deviled pork chop, baked potato, steamed Brussel sprouts, colorful salad, tapioca pudding;

Thursday — Baked chicken, potato salad, seasoned lima beans and peas, peaches;

Friday — Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, low-sodium sausage, oatmeal with raisins, fresh fruit.

 

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 6 – June 10:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Lemon baked fish, green peas, long-grain brown rice, tossed salad, creamy Italian dressing, whole wheat roll, grapes;

Thursday — BBQ chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, corn on the cob w/low-fat margarine, seven-grain bread w/apple butter, fresh banana.
