Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 13 – June 17. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Pork tamales, Spanish rice, salad, corn, churro, soup;

Tuesday — Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, salad w/tomato, peaches, soup;

Wednesday — Tuna stuffed tomato, muffin, mandarin oranges, turkey bean soup;

Thursday — Sweet and sour chicken, brown rice, peas and carrots, spinach salad, whole wheat bread, oatmeal cookie, soup;

Friday – BBQ ribs, macaroni salad, baked beans, ice cream, fruit, veggie soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Clinicians Home Health BP checks, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; JK Nelson Atty., call 727-5008 for appt.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club meeting, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits Knitting &Crochet Group, 10 a.m.; Infinity Hospice Seminar, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 13 – June 17:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, peach butter, Chantilly fruit cup;

Tuesday — Mushroom pork chops, steamed rice, green beans, three bean salad, applesauce, Jell-O with fruit;

Wednesday — Herb baked chicken, ranch beans, peas and onions, mandarin oranges;

Thursday — Tuna noodle casserole, herbed vegetable medley, sliced tomatoes, cracked wheat bread, apple butter, oatmeal date bar;

Friday — Pancakes, veggie and egg scramble, peaches, oatmeal.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 6 – June 10:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Sloppy joe on whole wheat bun, baked beans, baby carrots, fruit cocktail;

Thursday — Sweet and sour pork, brown rice pilaf, steamed cauliflower, layered salad, whole wheat bread / peach butter, Chantilly fruit cup.
