Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept.16 – Sept. 20: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — Salisbury steak, potatoes au gratin, cauliflower, cake;

Tuesday — chef salad, bread sticks, pudding;

Wednesday — Italian sausage and peppers, broccoli, apple crisp;

Thursday — meatball subs, corn, ice cream;

Friday — chicken cordon bleu, green beans, parsley potatoes, fruit.

Activities:

Monday — beading class, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; blood pressure/glucose testing, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; SHIP, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Stovall legal services, call 727-5008 for appointments;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; blood pressure checks, 9:30 a.m.; United Blood Services blood drive, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday – United Blood Services blood drive, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept.16 – Sept. 20:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — spinach lasagna, steamed cauliflower, honey dressing, garlic bread, cherry apricot granola cup, bananas;

Tuesday — Tahitian chicken, rice casserole, braised red cabbage, garden salad, peaches, chocolate chip cookies;

Wednesday — spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, garlic bread, mixed fruit;

Thursday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes, gravy, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, whole wheat bread, pears;

Friday — Breakfast: biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, oatmeal, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice, tea.
