Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Aug. 22 – Aug. 26. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Chicken fajitas, refried beans, tomato salsa, mushroom salad, bananas, soup;

Tuesday — Beef stew with noodles, salad, biscuit, fruit cup, soup;

Wednesday — Low sodium franks and beans, carrots, macaroni salad, apple crisp, soup;

Thursday — Chicken parmesan, angel hair pasta, zucchini, colorful salad, peaches, soup;

Friday – Meatball sub, cucumbers in sour cream, fresh oranges, split pea soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Medi-Source electric wheelchair repair and accessibility, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; 10 a.m.; Rippets (knitting/crocheting), 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 22 – Aug. 26:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Sweet and sour pork, brown rice, steamed broccoli, green beans, pineapple chunks;

Tuesday — Hot turkey sandwich, peas and carrots, tomatoes vinaigrette, oatmeal raisin cookies, fresh orange sections;

Wednesday — Honey mustard chicken, steamed rice, Brussel sprouts, three-bean salad, fresh apple;

Thursday — Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, banana, apricot-pineapple punch;

Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, yogurt with fresh fruit, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 22 – Aug. 26:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Hot turkey sandwich, peas and carrots, tomatoes vinaigrette, oatmeal raisin cookies, fresh orange sections;

Thursday — Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, banana, apricot-pineapple punch.
