The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept.23 – Sept. 27: Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — patty melt, baked beans, broccoli, yogurt cup;

Tuesday — barbecue chicken, baked potato, creamed peas, rice pudding;

Wednesday — sweet and sour pork, steamed rice, carrots, cake;

Thursday — pot roast, potatoes and carrots, dinner roll, fruit;

Friday — Swedish meatballs, Normandy veggies, cake.

Monday — beading class, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; blind support, 12:30 p.m.; United Healthcare team meeting, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Healthcare Partners seminar, 9:30 a.m.; Stovall legal services, call 727-5008 for appointments;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept.23 – Sept. 27:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — macaroni and cheese with ham, steamed spinach, raspberry Jell-O with fruit, green salad;

Tuesday — lemon baked fish, broccoli stuffed potato, salad, Caesar Italian dressing, cracked wheat bread, fresh oranges;

Wednesday — barbecue pork sandwich, Waldorf salad, baked beans, celery and carrot sticks, birthday cake, homemade ice cream;

Thursday — corn potato chowder, turkey sandwich, carrot raisin salad, fresh strawberries;

Friday — Breakfast: French toast, bacon, hash browns, oatmeal, peaches, coffee, orange juice, tea.
